On to my design.  I am using Chibi Cooking Up A Spell from Stampers Delights.  Here is what I have came up with.

This protects everyone!)  I bet you can't guess what
my favorite colour combo is?  Yes, purple and green.
I colored the image with Prismacolor Pencils.  The 
paper is all scraps.  I have a 4x6 inch stamp with
cooking utensil names.  I embossed the stamp
with Wow Neon Orange powder.  I have a Halloween
stamp set with single candy corn in 3 sizes. 
I stamped with Momento black ink and colored
on white card.  Then fussy cut them out and put
them on the card as decorations.

The inside is stamped with the sentiment from
the candy corn stamp set.  Embossed also with
WOW Neon Orange.

I may get in trouble but I just don't feel up to posting on challenges this time.  Just feel yucky.  So please keep me in your thoughts.

Crafty Gals Corner Challenge #223 'Hello Fall'

 Hello and welcome to my little blog in the blog-a-sphere.  Well Labor Day has come and gone and this signals Halloween.  My favorite time of the year.  The reason is my lovely daughter was born in October on her actual due date.  Shocked me and the delivery team.  That was many many moons ago.  But I still carry out my tradition of decorating for Halloween before her birthday.  More in next months post.  On to our new challenge #223 'Hello Fall'.  Here are the sponsors and the prize they are providing (in alphabetical order).

Now on to my project.  I am using a digital image from SheepSki Designs entitled 'Vlad n Mia'.  This image is the sweetest and perfect for a fall project and a reminder.  You'll see what I mean in a while.  So here is my card.

This is a 6x6 card.  Colored with Prismacolor Pencils.
I paper pieced the hat and beard on Vlad.  I wanted
to put a bow on Mia (purple bat) but I couldn't
make one that was small enough.  The grasses are
dies I just got.  The green is green glitter.  The brown
and orange are scraps.  The clouds are new dies also.
I Printed the words on each cloud and inked the
edges in light blue.  

I don't have much of this paper left.  It's by DCWV
big book of fall/halloween 2011.  This is a great book.
Has a lot of papers that are really a nice combination.

This is what I was talking about.  The Teal Pumpkin
project.  This is a fabulous idea for Halloween.  I have
given out little gifts each year for a very long time.
I love seeing the costumes and the smiles on the
childrens faces.  It's just a fun time for everyone!

The Crafter's Cafe Challenge Blog #273 Anything Goes

 Hello everyone and welcome back to my little space in this big blog world.  In my neck of the woods it is starting to smell like fall.  I am a fall/winter girl.  I love the falling leaves and all the celebrations.  The spring/summer are just to hot for this gal.  So let's get started and see who our sponsors are for #273.

Now on to my project.  The image is from All Dressed Up Stamps and is called Perfect Day.  I have a dream that I will accomplish someday.  It's to visit Venice, Italy for Carnevale (carnival).  So here is my take on the perfect day!

I used Prismacolor Pencils to color this entire
image.  The image was printed on GP #110 card
stock.  I looked at images of Venice to find the 
correct colors for the buildings and for the Rialto
Bridge.  Gondolas are traditionally black hulls.
The tops can vary.  I cut some brick paper and
then printed the portion with the wheels. I fussy 
cut the brick paper and glued in on the image to
make the street.  The wish you were here is a chip-
board sticker.
 

Now I have no idea who this card is for.  Maybe
just be one to keep and use in the future.

it is blurry.  All the papers used are scraps.  My 
scraps are going to be donated to St. Vincent dePaul
thrift store.  This is where I get a lot of my stuff for
crafting.
