The Crafters Cafe Challenge #284 Add Something New

Hi everyone!  I live in Oregon, United States.  We are having absolutely crazy weather.  About an hour ago I had an 1/8th of a inch of tiny hailstones on the  back deck and the next moment it was snow and finally sunshine again.  My mama used to say that equinoxial storms are always before Easter.  Boy howdy was she right!  So that's what's new in my area of the world.  Let's see who our sponsors are for challenge #284 with the theme 'Add Something New'.

Prize~3 Digital Images

Prize~$10 Voucher for Images Only
(no papers)

Another challenge with some very amazing designers.  I really can not draw.  So I really appreciate the work these designers do.  Go show some LOVE gang!!

On to my project.  I am using a design from Scribbles Designs called Baby Pea Pod Girl.  I just fell in love with this image.  Here is what I came up with.

The actual card base is from American Crafts.  The
purple paper is Recollections.  I die cut a couple
of rose bush leaves to support the baby in the
in the peapod.  The pink flowers and the It's a girl
sticker are older than dirt.  The grass is die cut using
KS Craft dies.  The tiny flower gems are from Joanns.

I found this saying on an old sticker sheet and
used the font Comic Sans to type the saying and
print it out on vellum.  Glued it to the inside of the
card.  The stickers are part of the sheet that I used
for the 'it's a girl sign' on the front.  The back has
my sticker.

That's it for challenge #284 'Add Something New'.  I really am happy with the way this card came together.  Thank you for visiting.

Stay Safe, Stay Healthy and have a very blessed Easter.

Crafty Gals Corner Challenge #230 Easter/Spring

Hey there crafty friends.  I am back with another creation for the Crafty Gals Corner Challenge.  The theme for this challenge is Easter and/or spring.  So get your thinking caps on and come join the fun!  Here are our sponsors for this challenge.

Prize~£8.50 Gift Certificate

Prize~3 Digital Stamps

These two sponsors are simply AMAZING!!! I can't draw worth beans.  I really appreciate those who can.  So gang, go show some LOVE!

On to my creation.  I have used a image from The Paper Shelter called Spring Eleves. Such a fun image.  Here is what I came up with.

(just a quick warning...this post is picture heavy)

This past month I have decided to decorate my
my envelopes.  So here is the front...

and here is the back.  The Paper Shelter images
are so crisp and clean and can be used for print
and cut.  This is a 6x6 envelope.  These items
are tiny!

Here is the front of the card.  I did a print and cut
and had 2 layers of each element to glue down to
add some dimension.  I added a hand tied bow from
ribbon I have collected over the years.  The little
gems are from Joanns.  Now here come the
pictures showing more details.

Got to love the bling!

Here you can see the layers.

On the inside I printed Happy Spring on a clear
piece of vellum and fuzzy cut it to fit in the
medallion. I will write a message in the empty
space.

Finally the back.

I hope you have liked my pictures of my creation.  It was a very fun project.  Love working with the The Paper Shelter!  That's it for this challenge.  I hope you can come and join in the fun!!!

Stay Safe, Stay Healthy and have a blessed Easter!
