The Crafters Cafe Challenge #287 Spring or Autumn Colors

Hello everyone.  It's time for another monthly challenge at The Crafters Cafe.  The theme is Spring or Autumn colors.  I have decided my project is late spring early summer.  So let's get started with who our sponsor is.

Prize ~ $10 Gift Certificate

One of the very first images I designed with is from Beccy's Place.  Her images are a delight to create with.  Please everyone go show some love and have a look around.  She even has some freebies!!

Now on to my project.  I love flowers and I love pink flamingos.  This image has them both covered nicely.  I picked the Big Wishes set.  See the big bouquet of flowers with the skinny flamingo legs...that's the image.  I used the sentiment "Thanks A Bunch".  Here is the creation.

I colored this image with my Prismacolor Pencils.
In SCAL5, I made two borders. Cut the image and
both layers and glued them all together.  I printed
the sentiment on light green paper and die cut it
out with my Gemini. The card base is some really
nice Bazzill and the background papers enhanced
the base very nicely.  In the center of each
flower is a gem. (had to add some bling)

The inside.  Same yellow from the front.

Here is the back.  The fold for the card is on
the top.

So that's it for another Crafters Cafe Monthly Challenge.  I really hope that you can join us!

Crafty Gals Corner Challenge #233 'Christmas in July'

Welcome everyone!  I have a super fun creation to share with you! "It's Christmas in July" challenge here with the Crafty Gals. Let's get started.

Prize~$10 Gift Certificate

Beccy's Place graciously provided images for the design team to use.  But unfortunately my image was not recoverable from my hard drive that decided to die.  So I have used 5 of the freebies she also offers.  Here is my creation.

I have made Christmas Tags.  I chose these images from Beccy's
Place Freebies.  I have a wreath, oranaments x 3 and finally
a Christmas Stocking.  I colored each one with my Prismacolor
Pencils.  Next I embellished each one.  I cut out each tag using
my Gemini cutting machine.  The tag dies are from different
companies bought at Tuesday Morning. I put very small
grommets on the top and some matching ribbon.  Now here is
the back.

I printed each back with the To: and From:.  I have used a
really fancy cursive font and a hand printed one.

Now there are 5 different style tags.  I made 4 of each tag.  Grand total is 20 tags.  I do believe these will do to start.

I am so happy that you could drop by today.  I can't wait to see what you create! So until next month,
