Challenge #188 Spring Is Here!

Hello everyone!  This challenge is all about spring.  I hope that wherever you are, that you are safe, warm and happy.  Where I live the weather is slowly turning to spring.  We have the ornamental cherries blooming and my daffodils are up.  Slowly but surely spring is starting.  Thank goodness.  Now lets see who our  sponsor(s) are for the Spring is Here challenge brought to you by Crafty Gals Corner Challenges.

I love the sponsor(s) we have for this challenge.  Please go and check out the links above.  Remember, everyone appreciates some love.

OK this week I am working with a digital image from Fabrika Fantasy called Earth Fairy.  I must say that I did not color this image.  I did do a print and cut using MTC and my KNK Zing cutter.  Here is what I came up with.

Here she is.  I used scrap paper for the background.  The tree and
grass is an embossing folder from Crafters Companion Die'sire called
Spring Morning.  Then I took Pebbles original chalk and spread green
chalk on the tree and grass and Prismacolor pencil in brown for the branches
and the trunk.

I love making interactive cards.  This one is called Twist Pop up card.  I found
a tutorial from MayMay Made it.  She is a great teacher!  Go check her out.

The font I used on this project is called Candara.  It is just a clean and kinda snappy
font.  I am a font hoarder.  Not to many just 3K.
Here is the Twist Pop Up card all spread out.

Here is the beauty shot.

And of course the back.

I also used:  Blue Painters Tape, Omni Craft Ruler 18"x2 1/2.  Fiskars Rotary Cutter and finally a hot pink Xacto knife.

I hope that you give this card a try.  It looks complicated but it really is easy and is a showstopper!  I'll see you back here in 2 weeks for another challenge from Crafty Gals Corner Challenges.

Bright Blessings,

Boy howdy!! We have some amazing sponsor(s) for this fortnight.  Go throw a little love their way!

Now on to my project.  I have used an image from Ikes Art called Cat-In-Clover.  Such a great image to work with.  Here is what I came up with.

Didn't this turn out cute!

I have had this ribbon for a long time.  The holographic
letters and green jewels are from my stash.  The cat was colored
using Prismacolor Colored Pencils.  The card base and layers are
from my filing cabinet stash of scraps.

The inside.  Long ago bought St. Patricks
Day stickers for the clovers.

The back of the card.
I do hope that you all have a wonderful St. Patrick's Day.  Please come on over to Crafty Gals Corner Challenges and play along.  Hope to see everyone enter!

Bright Blessings,
