The Crafters Cafe #281 Clean And Simple

Hello hello hello and welcome!  Can you believe it's 2022??  I certainly hope that the world can heal and the Covid-19 variants leave.  I just got news today that my darling daughter has tested positive and that means that her wife can not work.  My DIL is a Veterinarian and considered essential personnel.  They both had all the vaccines and still got Omicron.  Thank heavens we (Bob and myself) have not been in contact with them.

Let's get started with the big news!  The Crafter's Cafe Challenge Blog is now MONTHLY.  The new challenge will start on the 15th and run until the 12th of the next month.  So for January, we start 1-15-2022 and end 2-12-2022.  Also I want to make sure that you please CHECK OUT THE RULES at The Crafters Cafe Blog Challenge page.  Ok let's get this challenge started but first we need to show who our sponsors are.

Prize~2 Digital Images

Prize 3 @ £2.50 each images

Such a wonderful way to start the new year.  Friends please go and show some love to both of these sponsors.  It's simple really.  No sponsors equals No challenges.

So for my project I have used Kawaii-just a note.  My DIL's birthday is the end of January and I needed some tags for presents.  Here is what I have came up with.

I printed out 2 of this little gal.  She is so cute.
I colored each with Prismacolor pencils.  I used
papers from a big stack that I purchased from St.
Vinnies Thrift Store.

Here is a closer look.  The little gal has purple hair
so I used a dotted purple/white paper.  I
printed the saying on vellum and attached it to the
tag.

I cut another piece of paper and embossed using
Ranger Tanzanite powder.  I used some Prismacolor
Pencils to fill in my stamped image.

Here is the second little gal.  So since she is
wearing green I found some green scraps.  She
is colored using Prismacolor pencils.

This is the back of the birthday tag.

I would like to enter these challenges:

Coloring in Scrapland
(M, 1st Mon, 2E, No digital coloring) January -  Embossing or Anything Goes

Thank you so much for visiting.  Have a look around if you are new.  So happy you are here.

Crafty Gals corner Challenge #227 'Snow Much Fun'

 Hello hello hello!!!

Welcome to my blog and 2022.  What a whirlwind was Christmas and New Years.  For the first time in 40 years, we had SNOW for a white Christmas.  Ok, it started snowing Christmas and here in the valley we had a total of 5.5 inches.  WooHoo!!!  We just don't get snow.  Period.  So all the kids were so excited and played until they were played out.  Snow Much Fun!!!

For the first challenge of the year with Crafty Gals our theme for this month is Snow Much Fun.  Here are the sponsors:

Prize~$10 Gift Certificate

Fred She Said Designs offers a wide variety of digital products with a floral flair and cute characters too - Digi's, Pre-colored images, Papers, Sets, Fred's Flower Kits, and even digital cutting files.  Have some fun with Fred!

Prize~3 Digital Images

Prize ~ £8 Gift Certificate
(to be used on digital content only)

What wonderful sponsors for the first challenge for 2022.  Please everyone go show some love.  Without sponsors we would not have challenges.  It's that simple!

For my Snow Much Fun challenge project I have used an image from Sheepski Designs titled #123 Head Stand.  Here is what I came up with.

Isn't this fun!  I used cloud dies with white and
blue glitter paper for the snow.  The background
is multicolored snowflakes from a large book I
found at a thrift store (it's older than dirt).  The
actual card is A5 pre-cut that I bought an
assortment at Tuesday Morning a few trips ago.
I colored the snowperson with markers (Arteza)
and cut it out using my Silver Bullet cutter.

Just a picture a little farther out.

The inside has lavender snowflake paper from
another designer who I can't remember at the
moment.  (so sorry, it's a scrap)

Here is a close up.

And the back of the card.

This was such a fun card to make.  Didn't take to much time and that always makes me happy.  If you have any questions please email me at jtfrrst@gmail.com.

Thank you so much for visiting.  I do hope you can visit again in February.
