#194 Polka Dots and/or Stripes

Hello everyone!  Time for another challenge hosted by Crafty Gals Corner.  This is challenge #194 and the theme is polka dots and/or stripes.  The design team has created beautiful cards.  But first let's see who our sponsor(s) are for this fortnight.

Prize~$10 gift certificate

Prize~1 Digital Image (non-colored)

Prize~$10 Gift Certificate (images only)

Wow, great sponsors and prizes.  Go show some love gang!  The sponsors are very generous with images for the DT to color.  Thank you sponsors!!!

Now for this challenge I have an image from Odd Ball Art Company called Sunshine Silly Sally #307.  This image was super fun to design with.  The image comes with 3 different sayings.  So you can really create something special.   Here is what I came up with for the polka dots and/or stripes challenge.
The front.  Paper is from American Crafts.
I also used Georgia Pacific #110
card stock to print my images
and olive green Recollections for the base.

Still the front,  but the bar swings back.
I think it added just a bit more
interest.

Finally the inside.  Pretty snazzy huh...
Here are the Prismacolor Pencils and Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers that I used:

     Skin:  SN FS3
     Lips PC 924 Crimson Red
     Hair--
          Base: PC992 Light Aqua
           Highlights:  PC 905 Aquamarine
                               PC105 Cobalt Turquoise
     Eyebrows:  PC 105 Cobalt Turquoise
     Shirt:  SN True Black
     Collar: PC 905 Aquamarine

See, I actually remembered to write down all the colors I used for this challenge.  Go Me!

The next challenge will be on July 3, 2019.  Can't wait to have you visit again.

Bright Blessings,

Southern Girls Spots and Dots Challenge

Hello everyone!  Welcome to my blog.  I am so happy to be a part of Southern Girls Design Team.  Such a fun and encouraging group of ladies.  For this fortnight challenge, the theme is Spots and Dots.  Before I show you what I came up with, lets see who our sponsor(s) are.

Colour Of Love

Please show some love for these sponsor(s).  No sponsor(s) no challenge.  Now lets get to my project.

My image is provided by Colour Of Love (formally Lacy Sunshine).  She is called Rory's Spring Day.  I have a very long list of supplies used.  If you want a copy pls contact me.    So here is what I have put together.

The front is made from American Crafts Cardstock.  The ribbon insert
punch is by Marvy.  Circle gems are from Jot.  All coloring is using
Prismacolors Colored Pencils.

The inside is navy blue/light blue cardstock with blue dot paper made by
Hot off the press.

This was a really fun project to make.  Lots of imaginations used.  Thank you for coming over and I hope to see you again for the next challenge from Southern Girls!

Bright Blessings,

You're The Man! Challenge #193

Hello everyone!  Did you all have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend?  Bob and I didn't do a darned thing but relax.  Work has been a trial lately so it was nice to not worry about work.

Now for the new challenge.  This is challenge #193.  This fortnight is all about masculine cards.  This challenge is called You're The Man.  First let's take a look at who our fabulous sponsor(s) are for this weeks challenge.

Prize: 2 Digital Images

Prize~3 Digital Images

Prize~$5 Gift Certificate

Please, please, please go show some love this week.  In the past months, quite a few shops have called it quits.  These are amazing sponsors.

I am honored to be able to work with a image from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps called "Ambrose King of the Waves".  I chose to work with this image as it is the spitting image of my hubby "The Bob".  I think I have a pic of Bob to share.  He was a Master Diver and taught many students how to scuba dive.  He also has been dive master on a couple of cruises.  So this image was perfect for him.

So here is Bob's Birthday card for 2019.

I've had the background paper forever.  But it soooo matched I had to use it.
This is an easel card.
The inside.  I will write a message before I give it to him.
I hope you have enjoyed what I made for 'Your The Man' challenge this fortnight.  Oh course if you have any questions feel free to email me.  I wish you all a Happy Father's.  (even if a man is not in your family, know that you are fabulous every single day!)

So for now, Bright blessings,
