Hello and welcome to another challenge from The Crafter's Cafe Challenge Blog. This is challenge #282 and the theme this month is make your own background.  Which of course I forgot to do.  Hey i'm not used to having themes each month yet.  So, my bad.  Here are the sponsors.

Wow another pair of fabulous sponsors.  Do me a favor, go give each one some love.

On to my creation.  I have used a image from My Besties called Phoenix and Ella Urban.  Here we go...

Isn't she just adorable.  I have colored her using
Prismacolor Pencils and Markers.  The 'friends'
background paper is from a big book I snagged
from St. Vinnie's thrift store.  The two metal
heart charms say made with love.  I used the Word
Patterns rubber stamp (2004) from Hero Arts.

Here is a close-up of the Word Patterns

The inside is made with a slimline die with little
crowns.  The words are from another Hero Art
rubber stamp set (2004) called Original Definitions.

And of course my label on the back.

That is it for February.  I do hope your Valentine/Galentine's Day was absolutely fabulous.  I'll be back on March 15, 2022 with another creation.

Crafty Gals Corner Challenge # 228 'Add a heart'

Hello everyone!  Time for another challenge at Crafty Gals Corner! Since our challenges are monthly, this ones theme is 'add a heart'.  I have created a Galentine.  (Valentine for a girlfriend)  Lets see who our sponsors are.

Prize~3 single digital images

What great sponsors for a holiday.  Go check them both out and show some love.  Remember you can't win if you don't play along!!!

On to my creation.  My image is from LeAnn's World 101 and is called Flutterbye Fairy.  On to my Galentine...

Here she is.  She is just adorable.  I colored her
with my Prismacolor Pencils.  I love how the
wings turned out.  Next I die cut some stitched
hearts.  She came with the little bee's.  So I fuzzy
cut them out and glued them to the hearts.  Her
antenna are black wire with green flower
rhinestones.  This is a new fun fold card to me.  So
in addition to the base card in yellow, I have two
other papers from my stash with no name to share.

Here is my card starting to open

Here you can see that the left side of the card
is folded with DSP on both sides.

Here you can see the side folds out and it's a
card within a card

The front with the Flutterbye Fairy opens to reveal
a very ornate heart.  It is part of a set I picked up
at Tuesday Morning on a clearance sale.  The
stitched heart came with the larger one.

Here is a closer look.  The little bee stamp is from
StampinUp 2002.  It says 'you're one in a
Buzzillion'.  Thought it fit very nicely!

The back I put my sticker and stamped a trio
of hearts and colored them.

That is it for this months challenge.  I do hope you have a great Galentine/Valentines Day!  Our next challenge will start on March 9, 2022.
Hope to see you here again.
