Crafty Gals Corner Challenge # 224 'Halloween Colors'

It's that time again.  Welcome to the latest challenge for Crafty Gals Corner.  This months challenge theme is 'Halloween Colors'.  I love this time of year.  My daughters birthday was last week.  We went out to lunch at a seafood restaurant specializing in clam chowder.  Looked around the wharf and came home.  Had a wonderful time.  BUT...I forgot to take a pic of her card I made.  I'll get her to take one for me.  Oh well on to the challenge.  Here are the sponsors (in alphabetical order)

Colour of Love
Prize~3 Digital Images

Crafty Sentiments Designs
Prize~3 Digital Images

Stampers Delights
Prize~3 Single Images

Like i said, I love this time of year!  The stamp designers have displayed the newest, latest and greatest designs for the holiday season.  These 3 sponsors are such a delight to work with.  Please, go show each of them some love.

So since October is my daughters birthday month, I have always decorated for Halloween early.  I am always looking for images to use.  So when I saw the image by Colour of Love's called Dulcinea Sugar Skulls I had to have it!  So here is what I did with this fantastic image.

I colored the image using my Prismacolor Pencils.
I had my Silver Bullet cutter do a PNC. The orange
paper is Paper Wishes and is called Fiesta.  The
actual card is Graphic 45 Bohemian Bazaar.  Ribbon
and orange strip are scraps.

Here is the inside.  Graphic 45 paper is almost
always double sided.  This green is the inside of
that paper.  (cool huh!) Here is also a better look
at the Fiesta Paper.  I love how cheerful it is!

Here is the back but this is a good picture of the
actual card outside.  Love all the colors.

Well that is my project for the Halloween Colors Challenge.  Day of the Dead celebrations never looked so good!  Next month is Thanksgiving in the USA.  So
be ready to be thankful.

Be Safe, Be Healthy and know you are blessed!

The Crafter's Cafe Challenge #275

Hello and welcome to another Crafter's Cafe DT post.  What I created for this post is really a fantastic card.  Do you ever just have a card come together and know that it is going to be really special?  Well I was lucky enough to experience that with this creation.  But first let's see who our sponsor is.

The Artsy Stamper
Prize~1 set of the winners choice

This is a new to me sponsor.  I have to tell you that the images are beautiful.  Crystal clear and easy to work with.  Go on over at give them some love.

My image is called Seaside Holiday.  This card was one that I knew when I received the image exactly what I wanted to do.  And this is what I did!

The cardstock is American Crafts.  The wood
round is from Hobby Lobby. The shells are from
the beautiful Oregon Coast.

I colored this image with Prismacolor, Arteza,
Prang Colored Pencils and a silver sharpie.  All
paper is American Crafts. The dies I bought on
Amazon (dangerous place). The sand is white
glitter paper. The shells on the sand are from
Mrs. Grossman.

Here is a closer look.  The brown paper is from
a large paper bag.

Here is what the inside looks like.  Recently I
was able to get my lazer printer working.  I
printed the sentiment and foiled it using a
laminator and gold MINC foil.

Here is a closer look.  The sticker is from the
Mrs. Grossman Sea Shell set and they are
rub ons.

Last year I started having a sign that lets you
know how many days until Christmas.  Here is
the first one!

My creation will be entered at:

Stay Safe, Stay Healthy and remember you are blessed.
