I love working with Fred She Said.  The image I chose is Catching Snowflakes.  Here is my creation.

One aspect I love about Fred She Said is the images come with
both colored and images to be colored.  A lot of the time they
also come with matching papers.  I have used the pre-colored
image and printed it out.  Next I fussy cut another image and
glued it to the full image to create depth.  I die cut tiny little
poinsettias for the corners and one giant snowflake out
of white glitter paper.  Each of the poinsettias has a jewel
in the center.

The inside has the same background paper as the front.  I just
rounded the corners.

The back.

Thank you so much for the lovely comments and the love with year.  I will be back January 15, 2023 with another creation.  Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.  2023 is going to be great.

Stay Healthy, Stay Safe and know you are blessed.

Just have to say what a way to end the 2022 challenge season.  These are amazing sponsors and I can't wait to work with them again in 2023.  Please go and say thank you everyone.

My image is from Colour of Love and called Santa Possum.  I have quite a few Possum images from Miss Heather and love each of them.  Here is what I have created.

The envelope

Isn't this adorable.  I colored this before my surgery.  (as you can see my hand did not cooperate
very well). It's colored using my Prismacolor Pencils and Arteza Pencils.  The background die
is from KSCraft.  The background for the die is Dollar Tree Mirrored Paper.

Another die from KSCraft and it is back lined with holographic mirror paper from Dollar Tree.

The back

I want to thank everyone for the wonderful comments this is and all the love.  2022 has been another year of getting back to normal or as close to it as we can.  I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  2023 is going to be great!

The Crafter's Cafe Challenge #291 Use dies and/or punches

What a whirlwind!  I had Carpal Tunnel surgery on October 25th.  The surgery went perfectly.  (btw i want a quart of whatever it was that put me out.  best nap i've had in a long time)  The not using my right hand was very hard.  But I got the stitches out Monday Nov. 7th.  I do have to be careful with the incision.  The doctor said I should be back to normal in 2-3 months.  Thank you all for the prayers and blessings, they really helped!  We have one sponsor for this challenge and it is...

Prize~$10 Gift Voucher

I love Beccy's Place digital stamps.  They are so wonderfully drawn.  Please go and have a look around and maybe spread some love.  I bet you will find something!

On to my project.  I have chosen a free digital stamp called Cottage Chair.  Here is my creation.

Here is the envelope.  It is made from Neenah
embossed card.  The address label is the main
paper I will be using.

I have lined the inside with the same paper as
the address label.

These are the dies I have used for my card.

The base is brown Neenah embossed.  My layers are
cream striped, dark brown recollections, and a print from
a package that I bought at a thrift store.  The image was
printed, colored with Shuttle Art Alcohol Markers, and
finally cut out with my Silver Bullet Die Cutting
Machine using SCAL5 software.  I cut four corners and
backed them with gold glitter paper.  Final touch is the
hay stack that is a sticker.

The inside is cream card and more of the dotted
paper I used on the front.  Vellum was printed
and glued on with 3M Spray Adhesive.

You can see the embossing and my sticker for
the back.

That's all for me.  Crafter's Cafe Challenge will be back for one more challenge in 2022.  So stay tuned.

Stay Safe, Stay Healthy and have a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Now let's see who our sponsors are:

These sponsor's are incredible.  Their designs are terrific.  Please go and have a look around.  You will be amazed!  Oh, leave some love also!

On to my project.  I am using Gridiron Greg from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps.  Now Dr. Digi's images are some of my favorite to use.  They have a fabulous sense of humor.  Here's my creation.

The card is from Neenah Embossed.  The Background is one
I found on bing for free.  Then Gridiron Greg is colored with
Shuttle Art Alcohol Markers.  So Thankful is printed on
Vellum and I added football embellishments.

This paper is from a pack that I bought of
miscellaneous paper from St. Vinnie Thrift Store.
I found the Vikings logo on bing, printed and cut it
out on my Silver Bullet Cutter.

Here is the 50 yard line paper and Vellum
printed Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

That's it for this month.  Crafty Gals will be hosting a challenge for December that is Christmas themed if you would like to get your creation ready.

Happy Thanksgiving!

The Crafter's Cafe Challenge #290 Use Pink for breast cancer awareness month

Hello everyone!  Did you know that October is breast cancer awareness month?  Well it is!  So the theme for this month over at Crafter's Cafe is use the color pink (the color of this movement).  I have a really cute birthday card to show you but first here is our sponsor.

Prize~£8.50/3 images

Polkadoodles has got to be one of my favorite sponsors.  Please go visit and leave some love.  I would greatly appreciate it.

On to my project.  I have used the image entitled Helga Hippo Pretty in Pink.  Here is what I came up with.  I recently became a great aunt (really 3rd cousin) to a beautiful little girl who has just turned 6.  I used Helga Hippo to make her birthday card.   Here we go.

I am so happy that I got this paper at Tuesday Morning.  It was
in 2013.  (hey at least I remembered)

Here she is.  The beautiful Helga Hippo.

Helga was colored using Prismacolor Pencils.  Then I paper
pieced her dress, jacket, purse and even her nails match the
jacket.  The paper is a hot pink.  Then I added a couple of
butterfly stickers that are very thick.

The Inside

This is the card stock base.  I just loved the stripes and the main
paper with the green card behind it really pops.

I sent it to her with $6.00.  Hope she can find something she will like.  My nephew got married in August and his wife is the mother to Lily (which i decided is now my niece).

Now I have a reminder for you.  I will be having Carpal Tunnel surgery the last week of October.  I am so excited.  I have dropped so many glasses I may have to buy a new set.  My hand goes numb right
when I try to grab anything.  But this also means no coloring for a while.  I have gotten projects done for the rest of the year.  So please keep me in your thoughts.

Stay safe, stay healthy and know you are blessed!

Have a safe and fun Halloween (samhaim)!!!

Crafty Gals Corner Challenge #236 'Halloween Colours'

Hello and welcome to my favorite time of the year.  It's Halloween season!  But I am also somewhat sad.  I am having surgery in 2 weeks and if I put all my decorations up, I won't be able to get them down.  So this is my plan.  Have surgery (carpal tunnel), wait until the 2nd week of November and decorate for Christmas early!  Now thats a plan I can live with.  So this challenge theme is Halloween Colours.  We only have one sponsor for this challenge and it is a biggie!

Prize~3 Digital Stamps

The Paper Shelter has been such a fabulous sponsor.  They have been providing Crafty Gals images since our start in 2016.  Here is to more years together.  Go show some love and leave a thank you!

My project is Halloween Tea Time.  If you hurry to the link, this file is currently free.  Please go download it and I think you will be hooked.  So here is my creation.

I colored the tea set using my Prismacolor Pencils and then
did a print and cut.  The background paper is provided and
printed out 2.  (inside & Out) I cut out some scrap and made
a template for the polka dotted paper to cover the center of
the provided paper to create more interest.  Tea Time was
printed on Vellum and attached using spray 3M adhesive.

Here is the inside.  You can now see the inside of the paper
provided.  I printed Happy Halloween on vellum and stuck
it on with my 3M Spray.

The Back and my label

I wish all my friends a very Happy Halloween and Samhaim (if you celebrate).  I will try to schedule a post for November early.

Stay safe, Stay Healthy and know you are blessed!

Crafter's Cafe Challenge #289 'monochrome'

Hi everyone!  I have to say this challenge had me scratching my head for a while.  Now hair and skin colors can be any color.  BUT whatever you make must be of one color.  You can use any shade but they all must be the same base color.  I have chosen 'GREEN'.  Let's see who our sponsors are for this intriguing challenge.

Prize~2 Digital Images

Prize~3 Digital Images

Wow, just WOW!  These are two of the most encouraging sponsors with their willingness to provide images.  Please everyone go show some love!!!

I have picked an image from All Dressed Up titled "Little Dude".  I have used all hues of green.  Here we go!

First I have colored the Little Dude with my Prismacolor Pencils
using all the greens I could find.  Even colored the dog a shade
of green.  The card base is from American Crafts.  The back-
ground green and green plaid are some of my St. Vinnies hauls.
The title of the card is printed on vellum and the tennis ball
'woof' and 'arf' are stickers from Miss Elizabeths.

This certainly is a lot of Green.  I have used scraps to
finish up this card.  The back has my logo sticker on it.

So that's it for this challenge at Crafter's Cafe.  I sure hope that you can play along with us and possibly win some great prizes.  Can't wait to see your work.
