Crafters Cafe #310 Theme is balloons

Hello everyone!  Well July 4th is over and done with.  We have had a few more M80's shot off but the war zone is gone for another year!!!  Thank goodness!  How is everyone doing?  Oregon, USA just finished a heat wave.  Hottest it got was 107 f on the back deck.  But this is just the start.  Summer is here!  On to the challenge.  We have one wonderful sponsor that always knocks my socks off with her creativity!

Prize:  8.5£/3 images
I just love polkadoodles.  Images that are crisp and clean.  Great for print and cut applications.  The digital designs contain printable paper and other goodies!  Please go show some love and leave a thank you!

My image is titled Party Little Dude.  Here is a quick birthday card for my little neighbor boy.

My little neighbor boy is named Wyatt.  He will be 5 years old
in August.  So I tried to make the little dude look just like him.
The Little Party Dude also includes a bundle of really nice
paper that you can also use.  **you can also use them for other
projects**  Enclosed was 4 sentiments and 2 very nice
printable papers.  I have colored him using my Prismacolor Pencils
and I think the balloons are my alcohol markers.

I forgot to say that this is a mini slimline card.

That's it for July!  August is a great image from Dr. Digi.  It is for my husband for his birthday.  So for now, from my heart to yours,

The Crafter's Cafe Challenge #309 for June 2024

Hello everyone!  Time for another challenge over at Crafter's Cafe.  We only have one sponsor for June's challenge and it's a biggie!

Prize~3 Digital Images

I have to say that I love creating with Sheepski Designs.  Crisp and clean images and a large variety of topics.  Go on over and have a look, leave some love and maybe a thank you!

My project features a gnome and the title of the digi is Walkies.  Here we go!

I discovered mini slim line cards.  So this is the format.  I
used a lot of dies to create the grass, clouds and street lamp.  The
colors I used were Arteza Pencils.  And the little caterpillar is
paper pieced out of polka dotted paper.  The ground is brick paper.

Back.

That is it for this challenge.  I will be back next month for more fun!  From my heart to yours,

Stay Healthy, Stay Safe and know you are blessed!

Wow! 2 BIG Sponsors in the digital stamp images.  Please go show some love and leave a thank you!

Now here is my project.  The optional twist is a fancy fold.  This is a stepper card.  I found the tutorial over at Mixed Up Crafts.  Sam Calcott has an enormous amount of tutorials with videos.  Here is the link. Stepper Cards.   My image is from LeAnn's World 101 and called Flutterby Fairy.  Here we go!

I colored the Flutterby Fairy using my Arteza Colored Pencils.
The flowers are colored using my markers.  I cut out some
butterflies using a Crafters Companion die.  I doubled the
butterfly and put them together with a pop dot.  (they are
fluttering). The card stock is from Recollections and the
panel paper is from scraps.  I used some glossy accents on
the flowers to add interest.

Showing the stepper fold.

The back is where I left some room to write a short note and
I put my logo sticker and my initial.

So that is my project for June.  I do hope that you can join us over at Crafty Gals Corner Challenge.  But for now, from my heart to yours,

Stay Healthy, Stay Safe and know you are blessed!!!
