Crafty Gals Corner Challenge #240 'Add a heart'

Hello everyone!  Good that you could join me!  Gripe upcoming.  Every time a challenge takes place I need to come up with something to share.  BUT...what if I didn't have a great month or something happened that I just don't want to share at the moment?  I have a rubber stamp made by Stampin Up (2004) that says "If life's boring make something up!"  Sooooo guess who won the mega millions jackpot a couple of weeks ago?  Not me!    Let's see who our fabulous sponsors are for this challenge.

Prize~3 Sets of Digi's

A note from Rachelle Anne Miller:
I am an artist & designer living in the beautiful Adelaide Hills in South Australia with my husband and three amazing children! I love to create and am especially drawn to all things cute. I've worked on children's books, greeting cards, craft supplies, children's room decor, tech accessories, and more. I love to bring out joy and imagination in my art and create something a little different to inspire and make you smile.

Prize~$10 Gift Certificate

I have to say I am so happy that our fearless leader (aka Lena) has brought on board these two new sponsors.  This challenge I am using an image from Last Minute Manda.  So head on over to each new sponsor and leave some love and a thank you!

Alrighty then, here we go with my creation for February.  The theme is 'add a heart'.
I am using an image from Last Minute Manda called Mr. Gnome Valentines.  Here is what I came up with.

Boy howdy!  This was so much fun.  I had saved it for a time
when I could really enjoy myself and just create.  The base
card stock is from Paper House.  The flowered paper I picked
out especially at Joanns for this project.  The green background
is also Paper House.  I used a die that I purchased from KS
Crafts on Amazon that is a scalloped slimline set with several
sizes. The cut out die was also included.  I colored these gnomes
using my Prismacolored Pencils and Shuttle Art Alcohol Markers.
I used mirrored card for the hearts and I used colored jute twine
for balloon strings.  Here are closeups of each gnome.

This little gnome is many shades of green.

This spiffy gnome is many shades of red for Valentines Day.

This little gnome maybe many shades of blue but he is
anything but Blue!

Remember the cut-outs from the front?  Well I used them
for the inside of my card.  Happy Valentines Day.

This crooked picture is the back of the card with my label
and my initial.

Can you tell I had a lot of fun making this card?  I had a blast.  There is something to be said about
working ahead with DT projects.  I hope you have enjoyed what I have made.  See you next month for another challenge brought to you by Crafty Gals Corner Challenge.

So for now...

Be Safe, Stay Well and know that you are Blessed!
