Crafters Cafe Challenge #308 Theme: Smile/Be Happy

It's time for another challenge brought to you by Crafters Cafe.  This month our theme is Smile/Be Happy.  Here are the sponsors.

Prize~2 Digi images

Prize~3 images

Wow!  Two of the most famous sponsors in digital images.  I love working with them both.  Please go show some love and leave a nice thank you!

This month I am creating with an image from My Besties called Smitten Kitten.  Here she is!

To color my kitten I have used my Arteza colored pencils.  I
really like to use these.  They color a little differently than the
Prismacolors.  But still do the job nicely.  I paper pieced the
fish she is holding used silver metallic paper.  The actual card
base is a dark purple.   Followed with a sheet of purple Jacquard.
The phrase is just something I made up.

Crafty Gals Corner Challenge #255 Lace and Pearls

Hello and welcome to another challenge at Crafty Gals Corner.  Next month (June) will start our transition to anything goes with a twist.  So keep tuned!  Here is the sponsor for this months challenge.

Moondrea Designs

Prize~~$10 Gift Certificate

Just a wonderful new name for what I remember as MoonFlower digi stamps.  Well Andreia is back!!!!  Her designs are gorgeous and wonderful to work with.  Please go say hello and leave some love!

Now my project is using an image called Ashley Toad Fairy. Here is my design.

I started off with dark brown cardstock as a base.  The clipart
arch was found by searching my computer.  I colored the fairy
using my Castle Arts Gold Oil colored pencils.  I next added
some die cut grass and little flowers in red and gold.  The
toadstool has little beige pearls and rhinestones.

I hope you can see this.  I made another set of wings and glued
them on top of the other ones to give the card some dimension.

On the inside I stamped and embossed the happy birthday and
used the arch again.  I had a leftover flower so I stuck it on the
arch.

Well that is my project for the month of May.  Sunday is Mothers Day in the USA.  But first I will
be celebrating a milestone birthday on the 9th.  So I will probably celebrate all the rest of the week.

So from my heart to yours,

Stay Healthy, Stay safe and know you are blessed!

Crafters Cafe is also teaming up with Double Trouble Challenge # 164.
And guess what, the theme is Clean and Simple.  Have a go at this challenge.

These are three fabulous sponsors.  Generous to a fault and images to suit any situation.  Big Thank You's are in order.  Go leave a couple and show some love please.

On to my project.  C.A.S. cards are really hard for me.  I want to put glitter or some other embellishment on it.  You know, Dress It Up!  So I am designing with a set of images from Fred She Said called Doodled Flower Corners.  Here is my example.

The fold for this card is from Mixed Up Crafts and called
Pop-Up Diamond Fold Card.  Thank you Sam Calcott.  I
colored the flowers using my oil based Castle Arts Gold
pencils.  It was actually printed out in SCAL as a PNC.  I added
the inserted sentiment.  I used a lite lavender, white and a darker
violet for the actual card.  I embossed the side corners with a
embossing folder that is older than dirt.

The back of the diamond area is where you can sign this
type of card.  I embossed with a stamp from Stampendous
The feline collection from 2001.

The bottom of the card.

The envelope.

I hope that you have enjoyed looking at my inspiration for this months challenge.  Remember it is themed C.A.S.  Hope to see you again soon.  So from my heart to yours,

Stay Healthy, Stay Safe and know you are blessed!
