Crafty Gals Corner Challenge # 180 Anything Christmas Goes

Guess what??? There are only 20 days until Christmas.  Are you ready?  I know that I'm not.  Still have some shopping to do and about a day and a half of wrapping to get done.  But I needed a break and decided to color an image for this new challenge. But first, our sponsor(s)...

Prize ~ 3 Digital Images

Star Stampz
Prize ~ 3 Digital Images

The Cutting Cafe
Prize ~ 2 Sets

I know, I harp on this every challenge.  Please go show some love for our sponsors.  They would greatly appreciate it.

This week I have colored a image from Star Stampz called Christmas Tangle.  This is such a fun image.  I colored it using my Prismacolor Colored Pencils.

I wanted a special Christmas card for a dear friend.  So I dug out some paper by American Crafts.  The paper series is called Sweater Weather and this sheet with the snowmen is called Snow Friends.  Found it at Tuesday Morning a while back.  The frame is holographic paper from the $1 store.  Here are some better pics...

The front.  I used some vellum and printed out the words.

Love the inside.  The Snow Friends paper is double sided.
the green is the inside on my card.

The back of the card.

I think my friend will enjoy this card.  At least I hope so.  So that is it from me for this challenge.  The next challenge (Dec 21st) will be the year in celebration.  We try to celebrate each sponsor who has graciously sponsored our challenges this year.  So stay tuned for that challenge.

As the back of my card this challenge says, May the beauty of Christmas be with you all year through!

Bright blessings,

Wow, another set of spectacular sponsors.  Just remember to show some love.

My design for this challenge is provided by Cute As A Button Stamps and is called Autumn Fairy.  This image would be fantastic for Fall, birthdays and many other occasions.  That is one aspect I love about digital images.  Being able to incorporate the image into many different cards/projects.  So let me show you what I came up with.  (pic heavy)

The outside of the card

This is a thank you card for my daughter
 and daughter-in-law for
having Bob and I to their home for
Thanksgiving dinner.
The back of the card.

I will hand deliver it on Thursday along with the traditional spinach dip.  So I have a busy Wedensday.  I bake my own bread bowl to hold the dip.

Again, thank you for visiting.  Bright Blessings,

Challenge #178 "Thankful"

It's Election Day.  Here in Oregon, voting is done by mail.  I voted 2 weeks ago.  Now it's time for all the returns.  I do hope your candidate has won.  Aren't we lucky to live in a country where WE can vote?

This fortnights challenge is Thankful.  Be it gratitude or maybe just a thank you, to enter make a creation that shows being thankful.  Let's see who our sponsor(s) are for this challenge.

PRIZE:  3 Digital Images

PRIZE:  $10 Gift Certificate

PRIZE:  $10 Gift Certificate

PRIZE:  $12 Gift Certificate

Did you see how many sponsor(s) we have this challenge?  Please my crafties, visit each one and please leave some love.  For this challenge, I have used an image from Fred-She-Said called Pumpkin Bouquet Digi.  The digi's from Fred-She-Said are wonderful.  Clean and crisp and a joy to work with.  Go check them out.

So here is what I came up with.  The front bouquet is printed and reduced to fit the area of the card front.  Inside is the actual image that I colored and chalked the background.  (Of course I have a list of all colors used.  Just email me)  The card design is from Diana Tunnicliff.  I love her designs.  so here is my creation.
The front of the card.  I cut the outline using Recollections paper.  The green
is mirror cardstock.

The top inside of the card.

This is the Pumpkin Bouquet Digi that I hand colored using
Prismacolors pencils and chalked the background.

That's it for this challenge.  November 11th is Veterans day.  Please thank a veteran for his/her service.  Bright blessings for now,
