On to my project. In the State of Oregon, in the city of Portland each year besides celebrations at Kells Irish Pub there is a 1/2 marathon. It's called the Shamrock Run. I wanted to commerate this with a card for a dear friend. Dr. Digi had just the perfect image. Here is the link to Run Derek Run. Here is my project!

| My friend has been a run/walker for years at the competitive level. World travel was also involved. I colored Derek using my new skin tone alcohol markers. I used scrap paper and paper pieced all the rest. I made the road, the gate is a die from Spellbinders as is the pennants. |
