On to my project.  My image is from Olga Odynets and is called Flora Button.  Here she is.

Front of envelope.  I used G45 Garden Goddess double sided
heavy card stock.

The back with one of the Garden Goddess's.

Here she is.  I colored her on 110lb Georgia Pacific card.  I 
used all Arteza colored pencils.  I used more G45 for the 
medallion background.  The corners are from a die from KS
Craft.  The little bee is from a 2002 Stampin Up set.  It says
'You are one in a buzzillion!'

Here is a close-up of the little bee.

Since her name is Flora Button I thought on the inside lime
green buttons in the corners would be nice.  Another medallion
with 4 layers and a flower with the sentiment 'Take good
care of yourself' embossed with WOW gold embossing powder.

 Summer fun!  I think that mother nature is having hot flashes.  I just can't take the heat.  Give me rain and gloomy weather any day.  I do hope that hot summer weather is to your liking.  Looks like this will be the new normal.  Summer Fun is the theme for this month.  Here are our sponsors.

So on to my creation.  The image I have used is from The Paper Shelter and is titled The Little Mermaid On Vacation.  When i saw this image back in June I knew I had to use it.  Here is my creation.  (it's a good one)

I have colored the body, hair and scarf with my Prismacolored
Pencils.  The card base is a medium sage green.  Then I have
added a white background.  The picture of the ocean waves 
and the ocean behind the rocks are ones I found on the internet.
I paper pieced her tail, added some seagulls and stuck on a 
sentiment I love paradise!

Here is a better look at the background paper.  I cut out the 
rocks from another mermaid image and placed them in the
waves with a sign, Fog Horn's Bar and Grill, 5 Fathoms Below.

Just a larger look.  And in case you want to know, a fathom 
is 6 feet.

I do have to tell you that I love the way this turned out.  Now it is going to go live with my daughter.  She was diagnosed with long Covid about 18 months ago.  She has numerous health related issues that are not going to get any better.  So anything I can do to cheer her up is mandatory being her mom.  I hope this does get a smile.
