Please go show our sponsor(s) some love.  They would love to hear from you.

So my project is from Crafty Sentiments-Mia.  She is such a wonderful image to color!  Crisp and clean when printed.  Thank you so much Crafty Sentiments for this image.

Now I wanted to make a windy scene for Mia.  Do you think I could come up with something neato?  Not on your last dollar.  Zip nada.... So I had gotten a freebie from Mary at SVGCuts. It was the perfect tree.  So this is what I created for Fall Colors.

Here is Mia.  I have used American Crafts 12x12 yellow.  Scraps of dark red
and dark brown brads,  I colored her using Prismacolors.  The tree and leaves
are cut from a Big DCWV Halloween/Fall book that is 5 years old.  I printed
the Welcome Fall on a light yellow and cut the shape using MTC.

This is the inside.  You know me, scrap printed paper and some stickers I got
last weekend at St. Vinnies Thrift Store.
The back.  I am designing a new label and will have it done soon.

Short and sweet this challenge.  I do hope you have a wonderful month ahead.  See you in October!

Team Trace Anything Goes Challenge

It's time for another challenge to start for Southern Girls Challenge Blog.  I sure hope that you can join us.  It is open world wide.  But if you are from AU/NZ you can be entered into a drawing especially for these two countries.  I really hope that you can join us!

This challenge theme is 'Anything Goes'.  I needed to make a birthday card for a special someone.  I try to out do myself each year.  This year I really have done it.  This is called an Square Exploding Box.  I found this SVG file from Simply Crafty SVG's.
Here is the link:  https://www.simplycraftysvgs.com/shop/3d_designs/square-explosion-box/

I have to warn you.  This post is very picture heavy.

Just starting to cut out the file.  I use Make The Cut software and my KNK Zing.

I fell in love with this paper.  It's nice and stiff.

Here are the 4 layers to the square exploding box.
(I decided not to use the aqua paper in the final project).

Let's Decorate!  The Square Exploding Box File has the toppers for each
layer.  I chose to double the paper so that both front and back are decorated.
The paper I have used was found at a thrift store.  50 sheets for 3 dollars.
These papers all coordinated beautifully.  So this is the outside of the
square exploding box.

This is the Aqua middle section.

The other side of the Aqua section.

This is the 3rd layer and is light grey.

The other side of the 3rd layer.

Here is the Square Exploding Box with the top on.

The top of the square exploding box.

Blogger is being stubborn and won't allow me to add captions to the following pictures.  So the first 2 are beauty shots of the completed Square Exploding Box.  The third picture shows how the box explodes apart.  The fourth picture shows the box fully opened.  Now I haven't decorated this yet.  I can't show it decorated because a certain relative would know about it then.  So I will be updating the blog posts after the occasion has passed.  But I still think it's a pretty cool type of card with many ways of decorating it.

So happy you could come and visit.  Until next time,

Bright Blessings,
