What a whirlwind! I had Carpal Tunnel surgery on October 25th. The surgery went perfectly. (btw i want a quart of whatever it was that put me out. best nap i've had in a long time) The not using my right hand was very hard. But I got the stitches out Monday Nov. 7th. I do have to be careful with the incision. The doctor said I should be back to normal in 2-3 months. Thank you all for the prayers and blessings, they really helped! We have one sponsor for this challenge and it is...

I love Beccy's Place digital stamps. They are so wonderfully drawn. Please go and have a look around and maybe spread some love. I bet you will find something!
On to my project. I have chosen a free digital stamp called
Cottage Chair. Here is my creation.

Here is the envelope. It is made from Neenah embossed card. The address label is the main paper I will be using. |
 |
I have lined the inside with the same paper as the address label. |
 |
| These are the dies I have used for my card. |
 |
The base is brown Neenah embossed. My layers are cream striped, dark brown recollections, and a print from a package that I bought at a thrift store. The image was printed, colored with Shuttle Art Alcohol Markers, and finally cut out with my Silver Bullet Die Cutting Machine using SCAL5 software. I cut four corners and backed them with gold glitter paper. Final touch is the hay stack that is a sticker. |
 |
The inside is cream card and more of the dotted paper I used on the front. Vellum was printed and glued on with 3M Spray Adhesive. |
 |
You can see the embossing and my sticker for the back. |
That's all for me. Crafter's Cafe Challenge will be back for one more challenge in 2022. So stay tuned.
Stay Safe, Stay Healthy and have a very Happy Thanksgiving!
