Crafty Gals Corner challenge #275 anything goes with twist 'green'

Hi everyone.  I don't have a card to share with you for this challenge.  I have the planner cover for March 2026.  I have been a planner girl since high school.  There is something about creating pages and then filling them with pretty things and appointments.  My happy planner really gets a workout.  So Here is the cover for March 2026.

(a side note, Crafty Gals doesn't have sponsors for this year.  We all use our own images.)

The theme for this years covers are houses-homes.  Here is the green one!

I found this house using the Creative Fabrica site.  Amazing
stuff.  I colored the house with Prismacolor Pencils, Arteza
Pencils and  my new Languo shiny markers.  The grass is from
a die. I think it's from KScrafts.  The backdrop is some green
holographic wrapping paper.

This is the main monthly calendar.  I find two little clipart
images to use again on Creative Fabrica.  I print them on
white stickers paper.

This is the page for St. Patrick's Day.  I think the whole month
turned out really cool.  There are other pages but they have
personal information that is not shareable.

So that's it for March 2026.  I sure hope you can come on over at play along with us.  I am finding that choosing my own images is a lot of fun.  I getting to some projects I have been wanting to try for years.  So for now, Stay Safe, Stay Healthy and know you are blessed.

Crafty Gals corner Challenge #274 Anything goes with a twist "hearts"

Hi everybody!  Can you believe that it is February?  Valentine's day is Saturday right after a Friday the 13th.  So for this challenge I went with the twist of adding hearts.  I found a really cute pattern over on Creative Fabrica.  The card has 6 layers.  Here it is.

Well now that I look at the card I should do it differently.  Use
more pronounced colors. I tried to stick with the pinks but it
did not work.  I will repost if I make another.  I also put some
little puffy hearts scattered around.

Do you save paper scraps?  I have had this sheet of paper since
I first started card making in 2013.  This card needed the punch
of color.  I will sign it and send it off to my girls.

Here is the envelope.  I really enjoy decorating the envelope.
I put packing tape over the decorations after putting the
address on.

That's it for February.  Now next month is again anything goes with the twist of "green".
Hope you can come and play along.

So for now, Stay Healthy, Stay safe and know you are blessed!

Crafty Gals Corner Challenge #273 anything goes with a twist of a snowperson.

Happy New Year and new beginnings!  Boy howdy a lot has changed in just the last two months.  Grab a cuppa and lets catch up.

My significant other, Bob, had a couple of strokes starting back in 2022.  He then started getting lost while driving.  2024 he was diagnosed as having Dementia.  Our world has changed so much.  I have very little time to craft.  So what I have is very special.  I have resigned from 2 design teams, Pennys Challenge and Crafters cafe.  If you know of someone looking for a DT position please send them Crafters Cafe.  Pennys challenge has closed down and no challenges with be issued.

This year also has a big change for Crafty Gals Corner Challenge.  The DT will not have any sponsors and therefore no prizes. Each entry is JUST FOR FUN.  It is also anything goes with a twist SNOW PEOPLE for January.  With all that explained here we go for January 2026.

The DT is using all their digi and real stamps and all our paper to make our creations.  I have used a digital stamp by Dr. Digi (i think).  Here we go!

The base is beautiful purple shiny card stock. Next the paper is
from a big DCWV Christmas and Winter book.  I printed
out the words on scrap white card then used a KSCRAFT
cloud dies to cut the words out.  I did ink the edges.  I colored
thesnowperson using my prismacolor pencils.
The snow drifts are made using glitter paper a
nd another cloud die.

Purple snowflake paper is from Polkadoodles.

The back with my sticker.

So here is my first project using my stash.  I sure hope to whittle down some paper and organize my digi's.

Thank you for stopping by and until next month,

Stay Healthy, Stay Safe and know you are blessed!

Crafty Gals Corner challenge #271 Spooky ____________.

Hello everyone!  I have some news I would like to share.  My significant other was diagnosed with Temporal Dementia in 2023.  It's getting worse.  I am physically and emotionally drained.  My escape has been making my cards.  But when I start missing deadlines then something has to give.  I am no longer with  Crafters Cafe Challenge.  I just couldn't juggle 3 DT's.  So I am here with Rhapsody and Crafty Gals and still with Penny's over at havecolorsbehappy.blogspot.com.  Just thought I would let you know.

Here are the sponsors for Crafty Gals Corner Challenge #271 Spooky ___________!

My project is from Colour Of Love and is titled Cauldron Possums.  Just one thing.  I have a possum that lives under my deck.  I named it Polly.  I can pet her and she eats whatever the cats are eating.  She is sure cute!

Miss Heather comes up with the cutest designs for Possums.
I have quite a few of her possum files.  So I was very excited
to colour up this one.  I have used mainly Castle Arts Oil
based color pencils for the main image.  Paper piecing for the
floor and wall.

Here is the inside.

Envelope.  This card is going to the girls for Halloween!

So short and sweet for this month.  Now November will be the last challenge for 2025 over at Crafty Gals.  We will start up again in January 2026.  But for now...

Hello!  Welcome back to my blog.  Had a very nice summer break and am now ready to get the 'ber' months done so Santa can visit!  Actually my favorite time of year is October.  I had (many years back) a Halloween baby.  So her birthday was Halloween themed.  I have since quit making her Halloween cards and gone to more grown-up cards.  This year I think it will be Lilo and Stitch themed!  (btw she is turning 47. shhhhhhh). Here are the sponsors.

Prize ~ 3 Digital Images

WOW!  This doesn't happen very much anymore.  3 wonderful sponsors who I believe have seen sponsoring challenges since I started design teams.  Thank you's are in order and leave a bunch of love when you visit!

My project is from Fred She Said.   It is titled Fall Flowers & Paper Pricking Frame.  This is something I have know experience with.  But there is always the first try.  Here it is.

See those dots?  I took the end of a seam ripper and a old
mouse pad and pricked all the holes on the metallic paper.
Next I pricked the holes on the flowered paper and used
3 strands of navy blue embroidery floss.  I guess you would
call it a back stitch around the pricked part.  The envelope
is light blue card.  Base is a mint green.

Crafter's Cafe Challenge #321 Christmas in July

Hello and Happy Christmas in July!  Gosh this is a wonderful time of the year.  But...to tell the truth I am just lucky to get today's challenge posted.  We only have one sponsor for this challenge and she's a biggie!

Prize~3 Digital Images

I have been creating and sharing my cards since 2013.  One of the first sponsor images that I got was from Sheepski Designs.  I love these images.  Please go show some love and maybe a thank you.

My Christmas is July isn't a card.  It's a gift box.  The gift box pattern is from Simply Crafty SVG'S.  The 3D construction is a Single K-Cup Holder.  The image that I am using from Skeepski designs is titled Ginger Hot Tub.

I colored the image using my Prismacolor Pencils.  Then I selected
papers for the single K-cup holder.  The holder when done has
a front panel.  I adhered my image on there.  I inserted a hot cocoa
K-cup.  Quick easy done!

That is it for this cafe challenge.  I hope you can play along.  So from my heart to yours,

Stay Healthy, Stay Safe and know that you are blessed!

A note from Rachelle Anne Miller:
I am an artist & designer living in the beautiful Adelaide Hills in South Australia with my husband and three amazing children! I love to create and am especially drawn to all things cute. I've worked on children's books, greeting cards, craft supplies, children's room décor, tech accessories, and more. I love to bring out joy and imagination in my art and create something a little different to inspire and make you smile.

Both of these sponsors are fabulous.  Please go and show some love and maybe leave a thank you!

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!

Crafty Gals Corner Challenge is going on vacation.  There will be NO challenge for August.  This challenge will run until September 8, 2025.  So please show us your beautiful creations and see you on September 10, 2025 for the new challenge.  See you all when we return!

For this challenge I am working with a image from Patties Creations titled 'Hippo Rita'.  Here is my design for July 9, 2025.

I have colored Miss Rita with my Castle Arts Colored Oil
based pencils.  I found a background searching the web for
free printable jungle image.  Printed it out and glued it onto
a 5.5 by 6.0 card base.  I found my flip flop paper and PNC'd
an inner tube that Rita is floating on.  I searched for a small
bit of brown tag for the saying on front.

This is another copy of the background paper used on  the front
of the card and some more of the brown tag stock.

The back with my new sticker.

Well that's it.  I hope you all have a wonderful summer and I will be back for the next challenge on September 10, 2025.

Stay healthy, Stay Safe and know that you are blessed.

The Crafter's Cafe Challenge #320 Anything Goes optional masculine.

Hello everyone!  Can someone please tell me where the year went?  Gosh you retire and the years just go zipping by.  I think I work more now than I did in the IT business.  Oh Well.  Here is our sponsor.

Dr. Digi's House of Stamps.

PRIZE~~ 2 Digital images.

I started being on design teams in 2013.  Dr. Digi's was one of the very first sponsors I created for.  I have since collected quite a selection of digital images.  Please go show some love and say a quick thank you.

My image for the Month of June is Eugene the Engineer.  I forgot to take pictures before sending it off with my daughter to send to her dad for Father's Day.  So daughter took some picture to get Mom out of the dog house.  Here they are.

Here is Eugene the Engineer.  I used an old set
of markers to do the skin.  Next I paper pieced
almost the entire card.  The base is bright red,
with a spotted gray layer and then a layer that
has tools on the paper and finally a border of
measuring tape!  (in all honesty, I pretty much
copied an example from a DT member on Dr.
Digi's web site.  But I did change it up)

This is the inside.  I printed the words on
vellum.  You can see more of the tool paper
underneath.

The back

So I got the card done, made an envelope put stamps on it and gave it to my daughter to give to Dad on Father's Day.  Never took the pics.  The background is her backyard.  It is just gorgeous with a water
feature.

So for now that it's for the month of June.  I will be back next month with another project.

So from my heart to yours, stay safe, stay healthy and know you are blessed.

Much love and hugs, Jana
