Crafters Cafe Challenge Blog post # 316

Hey ya'all!  I am back.  It's been 2 months since I broke my arm in 3 places.  I have been released from wearing my sling and have started Physical Therapy.   My coloring is getting better but not quite where I would like it.  (actually my coloring doesn't look like an elephants anymore).   So on to the challenge.  Here is our sponsor.

I am using the image My Little Love Bug.    Here is what I came up with.

I colored these adorable Lady Bugs with off label alcohol 
markers.  I paper pieced the log and the leaf.  I tried a new to 
me technique.  I ran some aluminum foil through my Cuttlebug.
The emobssing folder just has heart shapes in rows.  No name
of manufacturer.  The card is 5x7.  The embossing folder 4x6.
So I had to piece together the aluminum foil.

Now on to my creation.  The image is courtesy of LeAnns World 101 and is called Alesea.   Here it is.

I colored the mermaid with Prismacolors in purple and hot pink.
Found in my stash was paper resembling water.  Then I got out
a file from ScrappyDew that is called Sealife.  This provided
the coral, seaweed fronds and the fish + turtle.  The title is 
printed on pink Mulberry Paper.  The turtle and fish both have
gold mirror accents.

Here is the envelope.  I just love the little pink octopus.  This
card is heading to Canada.  Hopefully it will get these before
the end of February.

Well that's it!  Not to shabby for the first blog post of 2025.  The arm still hurts.  I have 3 months of PT and I should be healed in another 4 months.
