The Crafter's Cafe Challenge #320 Anything Goes optional masculine.

Hello everyone!  Can someone please tell me where the year went?  Gosh you retire and the years just go zipping by.  I think I work more now than I did in the IT business.  Oh Well.  Here is our sponsor.

Dr. Digi's House of Stamps.

PRIZE~~ 2 Digital images.

I started being on design teams in 2013.  Dr. Digi's was one of the very first sponsors I created for.  I have since collected quite a selection of digital images.  Please go show some love and say a quick thank you.

My image for the Month of June is Eugene the Engineer.  I forgot to take pictures before sending it off with my daughter to send to her dad for Father's Day.  So daughter took some picture to get Mom out of the dog house.  Here they are.

Here is Eugene the Engineer.  I used an old set
of markers to do the skin.  Next I paper pieced
almost the entire card.  The base is bright red,
with a spotted gray layer and then a layer that
has tools on the paper and finally a border of
measuring tape!  (in all honesty, I pretty much
copied an example from a DT member on Dr.
Digi's web site.  But I did change it up)

This is the inside.  I printed the words on
vellum.  You can see more of the tool paper
underneath.

The back

So I got the card done, made an envelope put stamps on it and gave it to my daughter to give to Dad on Father's Day.  Never took the pics.  The background is her backyard.  It is just gorgeous with a water
feature.

So for now that it's for the month of June.  I will be back next month with another project.

So from my heart to yours, stay safe, stay healthy and know you are blessed.

Much love and hugs, Jana

Crafty Gals Corner Challenge #268 Dad's_______?

Where has the year gone?  As I am writing this blog I just figured out in less than 2 weeks fireworks will be available for 4th of July celebrations.  Then Christmas in July all month and then it's Halloween.  Life goes so fast.  Here are the sponsors for challenge #268.

PRIZE~~2 Digital Images

                             🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇

PRIZE~~3 Digital Images

Two of my favorite sponsors.  I have been on design teams for 12 years.  I have been creating with images from these sponsors also for the last 12 years.  Please go show some love and please leave a quick thank you!

My image for this challenge is from Sheepski Designs and called Strawberry Season.  Here we go.

The first thing I did was paper piece all the leaves.  Next I
colored all the vines and berries using my Castle Arts Oil based
Colored Pencils.  The front says it's almost strawberry shortcake
time!  My husband is nuts over strawberry shortcake.

The inside.

I have a weird sense of humor.  Do you know how hard it was
to find an old image of Strawberry Shortcake?  I found the
image and did a print and cut.  The saying is NOT that
Strawberry Shortcake.

Next I found an image of Strawberry Shortcake the dessert.
Did a Print and Cut.  Made a candle from a birthday set of
dies.  Finally happy Birthday was printed out on vellum.

I can't tell you who or when this paper was printed.  I found
this paper pad at St. Vinnies a while back.  It's good DSP.

That's it for the month of June!  Please come back next month for another creation.

So for now stay healthy, stay safe and know you are blessed!

Crafter's Cafe Challenge #315 Anything goes + No Squares

Hello again!  This is my May design team post for Crafter's Cafe Challenge blog.  Sure hope that you can come on over and play along.  Here are our sponsors.

Prize~2 Images

For this challenge were not supposed to use squares.  I decided on a octagon.  As for the image, the design team was offered two images.  I chose the adorable Bushy Tail image.  Here is my May project.

Here is my Bushy Tail squirrel.  I first made the actual card.  I
enlarged a scalloped edged octagon using the nesting feature in
Sure Cuts A Lot 6.062 software.  I made each level a color that
I used on the squirrel.  The yellow octagon has white and gold
buffalo plaid designer paper that I finally adhered the very
Bushy Tailed Squirrel.  I colored the squirrel using my prisma
colored pencils.

This was a saying that my mom always said.  More of the same
Buffalo Plaid in Gold and White using a smaller scalloped
octagon.  The saying is printed on vellum.

The back

Well that is my project.  I hope that you can come and play along.

So from my heart to yours, Stay Healthy, Stay Safe and know you are very blessed.

My card this month is really cute.  Love the image.  Gigi Flap Dancer.  Here is my creation.

Moondrea Designs has had so many of her images copies that
she asks that DT's please put something over her image to prevent
this.

I have used Graphic 45 papers from Bohemian Bazaar.  Love how
all the prints are matching.  I colored Gigi using my Castle Arts Oil
colored pencils.  The signs are from the stamp set that matches
the papers.  Chandelier is printed on vellum.  The stamp is from
Crafters Companion.

Here is the inside.  The women on the left side are from
another G45 set called Steampunk Debutante.  And I added
holographic bronze paper behind them.

Here the chandelier is from Crafters Companion dies and

Chanel is a stamp from years ago.

Crafter's Cafe Challenge #318 ATG/feminine

Hello everyone!  This is going to be quick.  Here is our sponsor.

Prize: £8.50/3 images

I have created my June cover for my happy planner.  The image is called Fantasy Moon.  Here is what I designed.

I took the black and white image and mirrored it.  Using several different kinds of pencils I colored
and blended on the flowers and the leaves.  I cut it out using my Silver bullet Pro.  The background
is made with paper from DCWV circa 2013.  I cut out the word June and made a frame.  The edge
is tape with black washie tape.

Sorry this is so short.  My hubby has dementia and is having a bad afternoon.  So I am off to calm him down.  So from my heart to yours,

Stay safe, Stay Healthy and know you are blessed.

A big shout out to our sponsors.  We just couldn't have a challenge if is wasn't for them.  Please go show some love.

I am working with a image from Polkadoodles called Party Balloon Bunny Rabbit.  Here is what I have made.

I used the pre-colored image.  I cut out 3 very sturdy tags.
Next I went digging and found some tiny rick rack.  That jazzed
things up.  Some ribbon and finally the bunny.  And we are done.

I don't know what the gifts for my girls will be but I ordered some garden pretties.  Hope
that they will like them.

So for the month, from my heart to yours, Stay Healthy, Stay Safe and know you are blessed!

Happy Easter 2025

Prize $10 voucher

Such a wonderful sponsor.  Great sponsor and really easy to work with there images.  Go say thanks, look around and find something you can't live without!

So for my card I worked with the image called Better Than Chocolate.  It is supposed to be a Valentines Day image but I am using it for a birthday card.  Here is the completed project.

I got out my stuff to foil this card.  I used a hot pink.  Foiled
all the outlines.  Colored with my Castle Arts oil based colored
pencils.  The base is a pretty pink card and the paper is ancient.
The candies needed something so I put mirrored stars in a pretty
purple.

I am so glad that the person getting this card has a great sense
of humor.

This is the inside sentiment.  Cute card!

The back with the new label for 2025.

Well that is all for this month.  I will be back again on the 15th of April with something different.  So from my heart to yours,

Stay Safe, Stay Healthy and know that you are blessed.

Crafty Gals Corner challenge #265. Twist is Fairy Tale _______.

Hello everyone.  I'm back with another creation featuring one of our wonderful sponsors.  Which are....

☔☔☔☔☔☔☔☔☔☔☔☔☔☔☔☔☔☔☔☔☔☔

(yes, I love to find graphics to insert in my blog posts)  These two sponsors are the bomb.  Clean, crisp beautifully cutting images that are a joy to work with.  Gang, please go and check both of them out.  They really do appreciate it.

I have created a card for a very special person.  Can't name her yet but after she receives it I will tell you.  The image is from Colour of Love and is called Luck O' the Irish Entrantress.  Here is the result.

She turned out so good.  I used a lot of different items and techniques.  Let's start.  The base card is very heavy duty black 12x12 cut to 6x6.  The card design is by Sam Colcott.  Link here Multi-panel Pop Up card.  If you haven't visited go look.  I printed the image on new marker paper that I bought on Temu.  I like it but if Canson comes on sale i'm buying it.  I have colored the image using any pen, pencil, caulk,  and thought about nail polish but not this time.  I also paper pieced the caldron. I masked the image and used caulk to create a blue background.   I added some green and gold ribbon to frame her.  "Wearing O' the green' is her title.  Printed In Vellum and stuck on the top.

Using the instructions that Sam generously provides I cut and created the inside.  I wanted to decorate it but didn't want to re-create the cover image.  So I found two cute little gals, printed them out, fussy cut and glued them on green holographic paper.  The green paper is from Graphic 45 Safari collection.  Multi-colored paper is from a book I bought at Tuesday Morning in 2014.  Hot pink and mint green from Recollections scraps.  "Happy St, Patricks Day" is printed on Vellum and glued to the multi-colored paper.  Here are some close ups.

This is the back.

I also made an envelope and decorated it.  Here it is.

Front of envelope

That is it for this very special card.  It was also the first time making a box envelope.  So all in all a great project.  Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and I will see you next month with another paper creation.

So from my heart to yours, Stay Healthy, Stay Safe and know you are blessed.
