Challenge #174 3+Layers

Welcome back.  Have you had time to settle in for fall?  I am getting close to saying the heck what the neighbors say and decorating for Halloween.  It's my favorite time of the year.  But first let me show you who our fantastic sponsor(s) are for the new challenge, 3 or more layers.

Prize:  $5 Gift Certificate

Prize:  2 Digital Images

Prize:  $12 Gift Certificate

WOW!  These sponsors are the best.  Did you see the prizes for this fortnights challenge?  Please Please gang, leave some love.  I say it every week but without the sponsors there really would not be a Crafty Gals Corner Challenge every 2 weeks.  So go visit!

I was really stumped this challenge.  I wanted to create something different than just the usual cards.  I searched through all the cards that I have received through the years.  I came up with this.  But first lets look at the lyrics for this challenge (I wrote down everything I used just for you).

Prismacolor Pencils:
     PC941 Lt. Umber
     PC 1082 Chocolate
     PC945 Sienna Brown
     PC 1014 Deco Pink
     PC 1011 Deco Yellow
     PC 923 Scarlett Lake
     PC 918 Orange

Koh-i-noor Colored Pencils
     495 Brown
     505 Grass Green

UBrands Colored Pencils (Costco)
     Nuts About You

Tools & Accessories
     Tweaser Man Needle Nosed Tweasers
     Cricut Spatula
     Dritz Quilting Ruler
     Dritz Rotary Cutter
Scraps from the solid and printed file cabinets
     ColorBok-Faded Demin Stack (really old)
     Scotch Spray Adhesive
     The bathroom sink for clean-up

See I really do use the sink!  On to my project.  I have the digital stamp 'Fall Dog' provided by the fantstic company Digital Delights.  I absolutely love using this companies images.  So here is what I came up with using 'Fall Dog' (he has a fall scarf and hat).  (pic heavy)

Overall, I like it but the card design needs more work.  Oh well, we have to try new things to continue to be creative.  Now the next challenge is near the end of the month.  So I would imagine it will be anything goes.  But it's close to October and that means...Halloween!

So glad you dropped by.  Leave a comment if you would.  Bright blessings,

  1. Such a fun and lovely card, Jana. Love the different fold. That puppy is too cute and you showcased him beautifully.
    Have a blessed Sunday.
