Crafty Gals Corner challenge #173 Anything Goes

I just took a look at the prizes from our sponsor(s).  Boy howdy, these are really nice.  Hi there!  If it is your first time visiting, welcome!  This is my little corner of the blog-o-sphere.  This fortnights challenge is 'anything goes'.  So I have done something I love doing.  First though, lets see who our fantastic sponsor(s) are.

PRIZE:  3 Digital Images

PRIZE:  $15 Gift Certificate

PRIZE:  1 digital image used by the design team

PRIZE:  $12 Gift Certificate

Wow, the prizes for this fortnight challenge are spectacular!  Please remember to give some love to our sponsor(s).  Without them, no challenge!  Plain and simple.

For this challenge, I have used a stamp set called 'Kathryns Rainbow' by Stamplorations.  Can't tell you how fun it is to get happy mail.  Love Love Love using these stamps.  They are clear and stamp crisp and clean.  I saw these stamps and immediately thought April 2019 planner spread.  So something I have never shared before.  This is for the first week of April 2019.  Here is what I have designed.

Yep, I went x-large in the pic so you can see the layout.

These are the stamps from Stamplorations.
This is my new planner from The Happy Planner. It says "This is your year".
Gosh, April 2019

First half of the week
Made some storm clouds
Be the RAINBOW in someone else's cloud

I used tissue paper from Costco

This is Kathryn "Keep looking up, there may be a
RAINBOW waiting for you".

Last half of the week, another saying
Some more storms

Kathryn (different coloring)

"Count your RAINBOWS not your thunderstorms".

The full layout!

I love using my planner.  This will be the one for work next year.  Since the big '60' is next year, I splurged and got a gold planner for personal use.  I'm going to decorate up a storm.

As always, a list of colors and tools used is available.  Just send me an email.

Thank you so much for visiting!  Bright Blessings,

Crafty Gals Corner #172 Add Ribbon/Bow or both!

In the Willamette Valley of Oregon we have been experiencing smoke from all the wildfires.  This leaves a sickly yellow haze in the air and unhealthy air quality.  So I have been in my Pretty & Posh Paper Palace craft room catching up on my paper crafting. The Crafty Gals Corner Challenge for this fortnight is add a bow/ribbon or both.  But first let's see who our amazing sponsor(s) are for this challenge.

Sign for craft room door,
daughter made the plaque for Christmas 2017.

PRIZE:  The 3 Digital Images used by the DT

PRIZE:  $10 GIFT CERTIFICATE

PRIZE:  3 Digital Images

My crafty friends, PLEASE leave some love for these sponsor(s).  Remember without our sponsor(s) there would not be a challenge.  Thanks everyone!

Now on too my project.  I am working with a digital image called 'Artist Ellie' from Paper Nest Dolls.
She just jumped out when I was selecting an image a month ago.  Paper Nest Dolls images are fantastic.  So here is what I have created (image heavy).

I popped up Artist Ellie with some foam dots.  The
images says "You Rock-enough said' and its a
Studio G stamp.  The easel is a file from the Gallery in
Make the Cut software.  I exported as a SVG file and cut it
using my Silver Bullet Cutter and SCAL5 software.

This is the inside.  The Pyrite stones I picked up in my travels.

The back of the card.

This card is very special.  It is for a friend that is having a rough patch.  I hope this puts a smile on her face for a little while.  As always, a list of all items used is available.  Just email.

Thank you for visiting.  Leave a comment I love reading them.  See you in 2 weeks.

Bright blessings,

Challenge #171 Tropical Colors

Hello all!  I am back for this brand spanking new challenge over at Crafty Gals Corner Challenge.  The theme for this fortnights challenge is 'TROPICAL COLORS'.  This could be a colored image or maybe a card.  Your imagination is your guide.  Let's look at who our spectacular sponsor(s) are.

Prize:  3 Digital Images

All Dressed Up Stamps
Prize:  2 Digital Images

Creative Bug on the Loose
Prize:  5 Digital Images

Have you ever used the wonderful companies digital images?  I happen to love and have worked with all three.  Each company is different in a oh so special way of drawing each image.  Please go check each one out.  The links are above each logo.

This week I am so happy to work with Creative Bug on the Loose.  My image is called "Beach Baby".  Isn't she adorable?  Here is what I have created.

I just love the turquoise and purple together.  I cut some sayings out of kraft and
put them on the card using .25 brads.  I colored with Prismacolors Pencils.

The inside features another cut out from a beach themed kraft paper and the sentiment
is from Stampin up.

I just feel that any of my card just aren't complete without
something on the back.

I have a list of all the colors I have used and the papers.  If you would like to see it just email me at jtfrrst@gmail.com.  Thank you for following along.  Since not one person entered my give-away during the last challenge, I think I will try again after school starts.

Bright blessings for a great 2 weeks!
