Now let me show you what I have created for the Anniversary/Year End Challenge of Anything Goes.  Here we go...
This image is from Bugaboo Stamps. and is called 'Birthday Elle'.
I just love elephants.  This was fun to color and design.
Happy New Year 2019 are rub on numbers and
Happy New Year I cut out using
my KNK Zing w/ Make The Cut Software.
This image is from The Paper Nest Dolls.  She is called 'Sewing Avery'.
I loved coloring her.  I had a lot of fun on the background.
I found a quilt block pattern I liked and actually
quilted on paper with paper I picked out.  Here's a pic...
I cut all the little squares and right triangles using
Make The Cut software.  Next I scaled it to the size I wanted for the
background.  Super Simple and looks pretty darned cool.

Well that's it for 2018.  Where has the year gone.  I hope to make some changes to the blog for 2019.  Maybe a new design but for sure letting you know what I used for each project.

Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Next challenge is January 2, 2019 and it's a blog hop to introduce the new Design Team Members.
I might have some blog candy to give away.

So until next year (hahaha) Bright Blessings,

Crafty Gals Corner Challenge # 180 Anything Christmas Goes

Guess what??? There are only 20 days until Christmas.  Are you ready?  I know that I'm not.  Still have some shopping to do and about a day and a half of wrapping to get done.  But I needed a break and decided to color an image for this new challenge. But first, our sponsor(s)...

SheepSkiDesigns
Prize ~ 3 Digital Images

Star Stampz
Prize ~ 3 Digital Images

The Cutting Cafe
Prize ~ 2 Sets

I know, I harp on this every challenge.  Please go show some love for our sponsors.  They would greatly appreciate it.

This week I have colored a image from Star Stampz called Christmas Tangle.  This is such a fun image.  I colored it using my Prismacolor Colored Pencils.

I wanted a special Christmas card for a dear friend.  So I dug out some paper by American Crafts.  The paper series is called Sweater Weather and this sheet with the snowmen is called Snow Friends.  Found it at Tuesday Morning a while back.  The frame is holographic paper from the $1 store.  Here are some better pics...

The front.  I used some vellum and printed out the words.

Love the inside.  The Snow Friends paper is double sided.
the green is the inside on my card.

The back of the card.

I think my friend will enjoy this card.  At least I hope so.  So that is it from me for this challenge.  The next challenge (Dec 21st) will be the year in celebration.  We try to celebrate each sponsor who has graciously sponsored our challenges this year.  So stay tuned for that challenge.

As the back of my card this challenge says, May the beauty of Christmas be with you all year through!

Bright blessings,

Challenge #178 "Thankful"

It's Election Day.  Here in Oregon, voting is done by mail.  I voted 2 weeks ago.  Now it's time for all the returns.  I do hope your candidate has won.  Aren't we lucky to live in a country where WE can vote?

This fortnights challenge is Thankful.  Be it gratitude or maybe just a thank you, to enter make a creation that shows being thankful.  Let's see who our sponsor(s) are for this challenge.

PRIZE:  3 Digital Images

PRIZE:  $10 Gift Certificate

PRIZE:  $10 Gift Certificate

PRIZE:  $12 Gift Certificate

Did you see how many sponsor(s) we have this challenge?  Please my crafties, visit each one and please leave some love.  For this challenge, I have used an image from Fred-She-Said called Pumpkin Bouquet Digi.  The digi's from Fred-She-Said are wonderful.  Clean and crisp and a joy to work with.  Go check them out.

So here is what I came up with.  The front bouquet is printed and reduced to fit the area of the card front.  Inside is the actual image that I colored and chalked the background.  (Of course I have a list of all colors used.  Just email me)  The card design is from Diana Tunnicliff.  I love her designs.  so here is my creation.
The front of the card.  I cut the outline using Recollections paper.  The green
is mirror cardstock.

The top inside of the card.

This is the Pumpkin Bouquet Digi that I hand colored using
Prismacolors pencils and chalked the background.

That's it for this challenge.  November 11th is Veterans day.  Please thank a veteran for his/her service.  Bright blessings for now,

Challenge #177 Halloween Colors

I am so excited.  It's almost Halloween/Sanhaim/Day of the Dead.  Well whatever you call it, it's my favorite holiday of the year.  Crafty Gals Corner Challenge for this fortnight is 'Halloween Colors'.  So get your best costume out, grab your preferred method of coloring, favorite beverage and join us in a great challenge.

But first,  Crafty Gals are searching for a few more design team members.  Head on over to the blog to read more about the DT call.  I have been on this team 2 years in November.  I love all the gals and it's a very supportive gang.  Take a look!

We have two fabulous sponsor(s) for this new challenge.  Remember Crafties, go show them some love.  As the saying goes, without the sponsor(s), no challenges to create for.  Here they are...

Prize:  3 Digital Images

Prize: 3 Digital Images

For this challenge, I am coloring a image from Scrap N Dipity.  It's called "Let's Be Unicorns".
I thought that it fit in with the challenge very nicely.  Here is what I came up with:

Here is the envelope with the card inside

Here it is.  Base is American Crafts.  The other papers are from
an old book of DCWV Autumn/Halloween 180 Stack.

The little witch says best witches

Challenge #176 Fancy Folds

Hello all.  This weeks post is going to be short but sweet.  First lets see who our sponsor(s) are.

PRIZE:  $15 Dollar Gift Certificate

This fortnights challenge is Fancy Folds.  I found one on  Splitcoast Stampers website.  This is one I have never tried before.  It looks really hard but once you see how this card base it cut, it is super simple to put together.  So here is what I came up with.

This is the card collasped

Well the first mistake I made with this card, I should have taken the pictures with another color background.  Black on black just doesn't cut it.  I will change this with black bases.  The card was super fast and very easy to put together.  Give it a shot!

Thank you so much for visiting. Oh, Oh I promised a picture of my daughters wedding.  Here you go.  It is a day I will cherish forever!  Bright blessings, Jana

Isn't she beautiful.  Her father said she was a princess!  Thank you for looking.

Challenge #175 Anything Fall goes

Hello from my neck of the woods, Oregon.  We made it through one of the worst summers of wildfires in a long time.  Now the trees are turning beautiful fall colors.  That's what our challenge is for this fortnight.  Anything Fall Goes.  First let's take a look at the sponsor(s) for this challenge.

Prize ~ 3 Digital Images

Prize ~ 1 Image Pack

Prize ~ 1 Digital Image

Wow just wow!  Our sponsor(s) are the very best.  These prizes are fabulous.  Make sure you go and leave some love for them.  Remember (yes I harp on this) if we don't suppport our sponsor(s), no Crafty Gals Corner Challenge.  Thanks to all my crafties who do!

On to the example for this fortnights challenge.  I am using a fabulous image from Fabrika Fantasy called Little Witch.  This week I had it kinda easy.  This little witch came pre-colored.  So I scanned it into my SCAL 5 program and did a Print & Cut.  Gosh as much as I love coloring, having a colored image really does help time wise.  So I also tried a new card design.  Found it in my files.  Sorry I can't tell you where.

Here is what I came up with.

This is the card closed

Here it is opened.

The card pattern might be a twisted easel card from SCS.  I think she is cute as a button.  Really a fun card to put together.

Thanks for visiting this fortnight.  I do have some exciting news.  My daughter is getting married next friday.  Actually they are celebrating their 10th anniversary by having a ceremony.  So we are all getting dressed up.  It is at a Vineyard with a lot of big douglas fir trees.  Maybe I will have pictures next blog post.

Bright Blessings,
